The IRIS Newsletter is published quarterly by the IRIS Consortium. IRIS is a
consortium of 79 research institutions with major commitments to research
in seismology and related fields. IRIS operates a facilities program in
observational seismology and data management sponsored by the National
Science Foundation. Major funding for IRIS programs is provided by the
National Science Foundation through its Division of Earth Sciences and the
Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
