The University Colloquium on Environmental Research and Education was
held at North Carolina State University, September 24-26, 1992. It
brought together diverse points of view on the role of universities in
helping society face the environmental challenges that lie ahead.
Rather than providing a blueprint for the future, the colloquium
represented an unprecedented gathering of academic deans,
administrators, and faculty, brought together by a common interest in
the future of environmental studies. Copies of the report are available
for $4 each.
