CSM Monthly Bulletin has been issued since July 1984.  This bulletin 

contains, as a routine feature, global analyses of temperature and 

precipitation anomalies and statistics which indicate the persistence of 

hot/cold, wet/dry events;  global analyses of sea-surface temperature, 

outgoing long-wave radiation, circulation anomalies and drought-

monitoring indices.
