News Link is a monthly newsletter from the Federal Laboratory Consortium
for Technology Transfer.
The Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) consists of
over 600 member research laboratories & centers from 16 federal departments
and agencies. The FLC brings these laboratories together with potential users of
government-developed technologies in the private sector and state & local
governments. The FLC develops and tests transfer methods, addresses barriers to
the process, provides training, highlights grass-roots efforts and emphasizes
national initiatives where technology transfer has a role. Their mission is to
promote the rapid movement of federal technology R&D into the mainstream of
the U.S. economy.
