The Second LOICZ Open Science Meeting, entitled, The Dynamics of Global
Change and the Coastal Zone, is scheduled for April 24-27th, 1995 in the
Philippines. The purpose is to provide a scientific forum and encourage a
dialogue among global change scientists worldwide. This announcement
includes a registration form, draft of the programme and a financial assistance
application.

The meeting is sponsored by the: International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme
of ICSU; Land-Ocean Interactions in the Coastal Zone, Core Project of the
IGBP; Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, IOC of UNESCO;
Commission of the European Union; IUCN-The World Conservation
Union; and, the University of the Philippines.
