GCRIO provides links to Agency databases and other non-Federal bibliographic systems. There are many such systems in the world today; we have identified a few that contain information that is relevant to our mission. In most cases, one needs an account to use the commercial systems.

US Federal Bibliographic Databases

Library of Congress On-Line System (LOCIS).
LOCIS is the Library of Congress's mainframe-based collection of databases including a public access catalog of bibliographic information, federal legislation, copyrighted registered works, Braille and audio materials, organization and thematic guides, and foreign law abstracts.

NASA's Scientific and Technical Information Office.
Access to the NASA RECON Bibliographic Database, NASA Thesaurus, and Selected Current Aerospace Notices.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory Publications Database
References to documents written or edited by staff and subcontractors of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

NOAA Digital Library
A compendium of NOAA bibliographic databases, on-line documents, and selected environmental journals.

USDA Integrated System for Information Services (ISIS). ISIS provides access to the National Agricultural Library's On-line Catalog and the Journal Article Citation Database. This web page contains a telnet link. Users should login as ISIS.

Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS)
A division of the American Chemical Society, CAS provides a broad range of scientific information products from focused technical publications to comprehensive on-line information resources.

Access to the Knight-Ridder information systems including DIALOG, a service that provides access to over 450 on-line databases and over 45 CD-ROM titles.
