RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
Item #d88oct14
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is soliciting proposals
for interdisciplinary climate research in the following areas: detection of
changes and identification of forcings due to the greenhouse effect; trace gas
fluxes from ecosystems and their fate in the troposphere; the role of the
hydrologic cycle in atmosphere-surface interactions. Projects may involve data
analysis, measurements, modeling, theory or laboratory experiments. Educational,
industrial, and nonprofit organizations as well as government agencies and NASA
centers may participate. Proposal deadline is December 16, 1988. See
Eos, p. 874, Sep. 27, 1988, or request information on announcement
