EPA POLICY OPTIONS REPORT

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has made available a draft report, Policy Options for Stabilizing Global Climate, in preparation since it was mandated by Congress in 1986. Other federal agencies and the EPA Science Advisory Board are currently reviewing this draft. (See REPORTS, this Global Climate Change Digest issue--Apr. 1989.) A companion document, The Potential Effects of Global Change on the United States, has also been issued in draft form and is closer to completion. (See Global Climate Change Digest, NEWS, Feb. 1989.)
