INTERNATIONAL LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE

Representatives from over 30 industrialized and developing countries have been invited to an Interparliamentary Conference on Global Environment, to be held April 29-May 2, 1990, in Washington, D.C. Senator Albert Gore Jr. is chairman of the U.S. delegation. The first international legislative conference on this topic, it is expected to provide a framework for the cooperation that such problems demand. Participants will vote on issues discussed.
