A Global Change Research Program is being initiated by Brookhaven National Laboratory involving an interdisciplinary group of atmospheric chemists, physical, chemical and biological oceanographers, meteorologists and applied mathematicians at the Ph.D. level. Proposals were due Jan. 15, 1990 for the second special competition for proposals dealing with the Human Dimensions of Global Environmental Change, coordinated by the Division of Social and Economic Science at the National Science Foundation.
