Materials for College Freshman. An interdisciplinary group of
university professors is developing materials for teaching physical, chemical
and biological aspects of global change to college freshmen (and eventually high
school students), with organization by the National Center for Atmospheric
Research (NCAR) and funding by the National Science Foundation. Goals are to
inform students, teach them fundamental scientific concepts, and inspire some of
