CANADIAN STRATEGY

The Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment agreed last November on a proposed National Action Strategy on Global Warming, which is now available for public comment. The ministers will consider the comments at this year's meetings in May and November. A federal response to the strategy consisting of specific policy initiatives has been outlined in Canada's Green Plan. (See Reports, this Global Climate Change Digest issue--May 1991.)
