Race to Save the Planet, 1991. Consists of 10 hour-long programs
that premiered on the Public Broadcasting System last fall. Examines the
environmental threats posed by pollution, destruction of forests and
development, offering solutions and new approaches from all over the world. $275

The Greening of Planet Earth, 1991, 30 minutes. Presents
the research of several scientists, which indicates that increased levels of CO2
in the Earth's atmosphere will be beneficial, by increasing plant production and
water use efficiency. Produced by Sherwood Idso of the private Institute for
Biospheric Research in Tempe, Arizona, founded ten years ago to conduct research
and educate the public on issues related to global change. Distributed by

Climate is Crucial, 1991, 15 minutes. Produced in collaboration
with UNEP, WMO and WWF, this video focuses on an effective energy strategy for
dealing with global warming in both developed and developing countries.

production, and energy conservation, and their potentials. Available from TVE,

Describes how corporations can launch aggressive energy efficiency programs to
improve bottom-line performance and customer demands for corporate
responsibility. Based on research conducted at the Rocky Mountain Institute, a
