The Northeast Regional Center of the National Institute for Global Environmental Change (NIGEC) is soliciting proposals for research on: (1) effects of forests on global concentrations of greenhouse gases, and the effects of anthropogenic changes in the atmosphere on carbon storage in forests; (2) heat and moisture transports by dynamic processes in the context of the global climate systems and its radiation budget.
