The GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT FACILITY will review its policy on supporting projects in developing countries, and will accept greater involvement from the private sector, the public, and environmental groups. These conclusions emerged from critical internal reviews and from the first GEF Assembly, held last April in New Delhi, India.
