Bay Link is an educational site centered on the Chesapeake Bay estuary, the people living on its drainage area, and the effect the various natural and human forces have on the Bay.
Researching the Bay (Gr. 4-12)
Students will investigate sources of accurate, current information about the Chesapeake Bay and will develop skills useful for topic selection and library research.
Sand Shakes & Mud Pies Field Trip (Gr. 4-12)
Students will investigate natural patterns of sediment organization.
Fossil Geology (Gr. 5-10)
Students will define and investigate paleontology, research geological history of the Chesapeake Bay, review geological time line, identify fossils of the Chesapeake Bay.
Marine Debris on the Chesapeake Bay (Gr. 6-12)
Students will analyze estuarine debris data and experiment with density of marine debris.
