It is anticipated that access to the draft Synthesis Report will be made available on April 2, 2001. Requests to be a reviewer for the U.S. Government may be submitted up until the date on which the review comments are due (reviewers contacted directly by IPCC for reviews have a different deadline). Reviewer comments on the draft Third Assessment Report should be submitted as an attachment to an email message (see guidelines) and must be received at the email addresses listed in http://www.gcrio.org/ipccform/addresses.html on or before the April 27, 2001 deadline.

The SGCR cannot extend this deadline because the member countries of the IPCC have established a strict timetable for the review process and require prompt submission of USG comments.
