The Climate
Time Line is an online tool that allows one to examine climate change and
variability at different time scales, from daily diurnal cycles and
climate and weather forecasts for the near-term, to 100,000 year scales.

The purpose of
NASA's Visible Earth is to provide a consistently updated, central point
of access to the superset of NASA's Earth science-related images,
animations, and data visualizations. These images are considered to be
public domain and, as such, are freely available to the interested
public-at-large, the media, scientists, and educators for re-use and/or
re-publication.

The
Operational Significant Event Imagery team produces high-resolution,
detailed imagery of significant environmental events which are visible in
remotely-sensed data available at the NOAA Science Center in Suitland,
Maryland. These events include dust storms, fires, floods, icebergs, ocean
events, severe weather, snow cover, storm systems, tropical cyclones and
volcanoes.
